About Us.

Engage was founded in 2022 in response to the expansion of privatized Medicare in Ontario. To ensure that all Ontarians could maintain their right to affordable, publicly funded healthcare, Engage recruited policy analysts, public relations experts, doctoral researchers, and finance specialists to mount a strong defense. At the core of this initiative was Engage’s vision to work alongside communities and to build a society where economically and socially marginalized youth are supported by equitable policies. Since taking action on healthcare, Engage has launched community impact projects focused on affordable housing, education, and youth-centered innovation policy. Across each project, Engage offers free civics education, and works alongside community partners to train the next generation of change makers.

Igniting Youth Potential: We are committed to igniting youth potential, especially among marginalised young people, to pave the way for a future free from poverty, where innovation, justice, and progress intersect harmoniously.

Our team operates in three areas: political strategy, communications, and outreach. Everyone at Engage provides a wide range of skills from policy development to fundraising to public relations. Together, our dream team works hard to make sure that youth interests are factored into every piece of legislation.
